A Good Visitor Experience Is Important
Most small business owners have a website. Many think they need a website just because everyone else has one. Well, that’s not exactly a solid internet marketing strategy. After all, a website that doesn’t generate visitors that result in sales is not doing its job.
The objective of your business website should not only be to drive more traffic to it, but also to enhance each visitor’s experience while they are there. After that, it should also give them enough reason to return again and again.
Build a Website that Sells
While searching for a missing part to my workout machine, I stumbled upon a website that claimed to offer the elusive part for sale. The layout of this site was so confusing, I literally got dizzy trying to navigate through it. It would have been easier to find my way out of a giant kaleidoscope with binoculars on. After a few short minutes of this nightmare, I finally left the site for good.
Sadly, websites like this are all too common. Far too many times with the sites I visit, it is almost impossible to find my way around, or even tell what the site is actually about. In many cases I simply leave. This is obviously not the action want you want from your visitors.
Using SEO Strategies to Increase Web Traffic
Every new technology adopted widely by society brings about a number of new opportunities. The movable type printing press created affordable print information, the telephone and radio created the concept of instantaneous communication over great distances. Today, the Internet has unified both of these concepts into the information explosion that is the digital age.
Consider this article alone – a mere forty years ago printing even fifty copies of each page would cost either a chunk of change or at least a suspicious look from the boss as you hovered over the office copier. Now the information can be sent to thousands of people within the time it takes to brew a good cup of tea.
Improving the Conversion Rate of a Website
Just what is a web conversion? It’s when you earn money from something, namely a sale. A visitor finds your site, reads, then buys something from you, whether it’s a service, a product, or sometimes even a referral to another company.
The following 10 tips for improving web site conversions will help any business define itself in the online world in the best way: creating sales.

Creating a good website is not an end of the task. Rather, it is just a beginning. All efforts should be taken to make a website attractive and user friendly. A visitor may land up on the website or a web page after clicking some or the other link from the hubs, blogs, articles and other networking sites. But will that ensure that he stays navigating on the site for some time? Will a visitor like to come back to your site again and again?
